CHAKRA YOGA includes the practice of asanas, Hatha yoga (physical movements), pranayama (breath and energy control practices), simple raja yoga (concentration meditation and visualisation practices) as well as yoga nidra and meditation. It is a complete practice for self awakening physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.

Chakra Yoga focuses on a combination of inner and outer practices in order to help you to develop your whole self by working with both the physical and energetic bodies, through your chakra system.

Classes are suitable for beginners as well as those with some yoga background. Also suitable for those with minor back, shoulder and neck injuries. Classes may be different each week in order to ensure a more balanced and whole practice over the 3 month period.

You will also each receive an Energy Profile review based on your birthdate following the Yantra Yoga system. This will help you understand your energy make up, and mental and emotional tendencies, so you can learn how best to respond to personal challenges and weaknesses and to build on your strengths. In addition, you will learn where you are in your life cycle following a 9 year numerological cycle. This helps balance your life purpose and actions according to a yin or yang year cycle, and living life with greater flow and ease!

RETREAT FEE

* EARLY BIRD RM 700 ~ Register and pay a 50% deposit by 15 Nov. 2018. Full payment by 15 Dec. 2018.

* Special RM 750 – After 15 Nov. 2018, register with a 50% deposit and make full payment by 15 Dec. 2018.

* Normal Rate RM800 – After 15 Dec. 2018, register with full payment by 10 Jan 2019.

 

 IMPORTANT NOTE: 

  • Retreat Fee includes all meals and materials. A 50% Deposit is required to register. 
  • Wholesome meals: All meals are vegetarian with vegan option.
  • Please bring your own yoga mat and any other support you require for the period of the retreat, eg. yoga blocks, meditation cushion and a shawl for chilly mornings and evenings.

ROOM CHARGES

Room charges are separate from the Retreat Fee and depending on type of accommodation you choose:

* Triple sharing: RM220 per person for 2 nights

* Double sharing: RM240-315 per person for 2 nights (depending on room type);

* Single room: RM320 for 2 nights.

Once you have registered, please advice your room preference as room assignments will be done by the organiser. Also please inform the organiser, if you choose a double or triple sharing room and have a preferred roommate. If not, the organiser is happy to match you with the most suitable roommate(s).

CANCELLATION POLICY

  • Cancellations by 15 Dec. 2018 receive a refund of 50% of the retreat fee.
  • Cancellations by 4 Jan 2019 receive a refund of 25% of the retreat fee.
  • No refund after 4 Jan 2019.
  • In the event that the retreat is cancelled for unforeseen reasons or a lack of participation, your deposit or payment will be returned in full.

TRANSPORT UP THE HILL

Jeep service up the hill to Hickory Bungalow will be organised for those wanting a jeep ride up and back down the hill. The cost of the whole jeep is RM200 both ways and will be an additional cost. Four to five persons can fit into the jeep depending on the amount of luggage so you can share out the cost of the jeep among yourselves. You will need to inform the organiser ahead of time if you wish to hire the jeep service so we can group people together at the same time. We will arrange for participants to meet at the Botanical Gardens Friday afternoon (time to be determined). The same will be arranged for the group at the end of the retreat to return on Sunday late afternoon or early evening.

If you prefer to take the funicular train up to Hickory Bungalow, you will need to get off at the Lower Tunnel Station and follow the sign for a 5 minute walk. Note that the trains can be busy during the weekends and potentially on a Friday afternoon given that Monday 21 Jan is a public holiday. Give yourself ample time to get the train up. It is advisable that you start your journey from the foot hill at least 2-3 hours before our meeting time at 5pm. All ticket purchases require proof of identification.

I’m so excited to embark on a new project with my dear friend and soul sister, artist and soul activist, Jennifer Mourin, called LIVING IN A NEW EARTH! While the project is still in it’s infancy and still taking shape as a fetus morphs every day in its mother’s womb, so too is this project. Yet as I write up sections of the project content today I’m feeling a calling to share the early draft pieces. Inner guidance is telling me that it is not just the final product that will be of support and inspiration to people, but even the early etchings and ideas will be positive and helpful to those who will read and hear these words in the NOW! Hence my first contribution

The TIME IS NOW to Wake Up. Make a Change!

Wake up! The time is NOW! If you have been going through life pretty much the same and often with one challenge 
after another, whether personal or in the collective then it’s time for change. Many people live life with all kinds of 
dissatisfaction yet stay in the same situation, complaining or putting up with the situation. This is an old energy 
matrix. 

Life does not need to be painful, mundane, up and down or, at best, OK. Life in the New Earth is meant to be Amazing.
... fulfilling, meaningful, mysterious, joyful and abundant. If you haven’t felt any of these emotions in a long time then
something deep needs to change. 

Review your work or career; take stock your your relationships, personal and other; assess your daily routines and 
check if these bring you joy or just more of the same; are your belief systems and religious ideas expanding or 
constricting you and your Mind? Is the way you look at Life and Reality bringing you more positive emotions or just 
creating more doubts, worries and constant fears?

All these can change, and you have the power to Make the Change! Start with the first step!

* Take time to pause and assess how your life is going? At whatever age or situation you are in life, change is possible. 
Choose the path towards greater peace, ease and happiness.

* Wake up early each morning. Take time to be in sunlight or at least to gaze out of your window for a few minutes 
and breathe. The sun not only brings heat, solar light and new energy but new light codes that will help rewire your brain 
and nourishes your physical and etheric bodies.

* Do something different each day. Find a new path to walk or drive on. Take a new course. Listen to a different kind 
of music or youtube speaker. 

* Make a decision to change what is painful in your life. Once a DECISION is Made, the next steps are easier. Take the 
first step and the Universe will support all your steps forward!

 

 

 

Empowering AJNA, your Third Eye chakra, through chakra yoga practices

Welcome to my intro video on AJNA, the THIRD EYE Chakra which governs your Mental energy and Thought Patterns. The Third Eye chakra influences your Pituary gland, the master gland for your whole ENDOCRINE System and thus how effective your hormonal function is. It also influences your Cerebrum, the thinking aspect of your brain.

As Ajana chakra is situated between the Left and Right lobes of your brain, it helps to ensure more balance in your thought processes by expanding right brain function. This enhances Visual Perception, Imagery, Imagination, Intuition, Insight as well as Dream recall among other more psychic senses.

Understanding Vishuddha, your Throat Chakra through chakra yoga practice

Welcome to my mini series introducing Chakra Yoga and the respective chakras. The THROAT Chakra or VISHUDDHA in Sankrit, is a very interesting, yet complex chakra, as it is the purview of d VERBAL MIND n sound.

At the physiological level, the Throat chakra influences the Thyroid and Parathyroid glands governing one’s metabolism, body temperature, rate of vibration of organs n cells, as well as the efficient movement of calcium in and out of one’s blood stream.

At the mental emotional level d Throat Chakra governs the energy of your Words, quality of your Voice, energy of your Verbal Thoughts and everything to do with your verbal mind and Manifestation. Chakra yoga practices use Sound such as toning, humming, Affirmations, mantras and a variety of concentration techniques to shift your mental energy and thus your overall frequency from a lower state to a higher vibrational state. It also teaches how your can change your life by changing your thoughts n words… As u learn about the Throat Chakra you enter more deeply into the realm of body-mind connections and the higher chakras. Presenting the HEART CHAKRA in this mini series of Chakra Yoga videos. ANAHATA, in Sankrit is the centre chakra connected to your physical heart, lungs and skin. It is also the energy centre for your Social Identity and allows you to live life from a Heart-based centre. Heart chakra movements involve heart openers, back bends and flowing arm movements that are in sync with your breath.
